This is kind of a long story, and you'll see at the end why I gave them a 5-star rating. My old computer wouldn't boot up; I brought it to them. They charge $80 for an estimate, which is applied to any repairs they do. They were sad to inform me that the computer wasn't salvageable, short of replacing the mother board, and it wouldn't be worth it. The great news: They told me that the data on the hard drive was intact. They took out the hard drive and put it in an enclosure, so that I could plug it into a USB port. The cost was only about $35 for the enclosure -- whereas most places will charge a lot for data transfer. Unfortunately, plugging in the hard drive into my new computer kept causing File Explorer to crash (and even caused the more robust FreeCommander XE to crash), so I brought the hard drive back. They informed me that, indeed, some sectors of the hard drive were corrupt, but they were still able to recover all of the files I needed and put them onto another external drive that I brought over. They usually charge $300 for data transfer for challenging situations like a corrupted or broken hard drive. But they were apologetic for not originally realizing that the hard drive was not healthy and, thus, for inconveniencing me and only charged $70 -- and they also refunded the $35 for the enclosure which I no longer needed. The people at ScreenFixing are very nice, honest, and professional. I highly recommend ScreenFixing, and it will be my go-to place for any future computer and phone repairs.

I never give 5 stars unless the whole experience was out of this world. I wish I could give these guys 4 and 3/4 stars because they came so close. Their knowledge and professionalism more than met my criteria. They even picked up and delivered thanks to my being in close proximity. Mac users would advantage themselves by choosing ScreenFixing over Genius Bar-- unless you like having your entire life, encapsulated in a CPU, sitting on some tech's shelf until they deem to deliver a fix and skip the customer service altogether.

I had a hard drive fail years ago with sentimental photos and artwork on it, and it sat in a drawer for over five years. I finally brought it to ScreenFixing and had a fantastic experience. I called to see if they took walk-ins. I just needed an iPhone SE 2020 battery changed. The folks were really laid back and professional at the same time. They changed the battery in 1 hour without issue for a reasonable price. $79 plus tax. There were also nice places to wait. There is a comic book store on the corner and a coffee shop making this a VERY pleasant experience. The bagel shop on the street is also great.

Great and easy fix! My phone was actually ready within 45 minutes, I was away so I didn't pick it up right away but it's nice that they move quickly. Charging port stopped working on a classic (old) ipad. Two other places stated that they'd need to send it out for repair and if it went well, still wouldn't be back until after the new year. The guys in my old neighborhood at ScreenFixing were able to get it taken care of in a week (I gather much of that was waiting on the part to arrive), and at a lower cost than others had quoted. I've run a retail "service oriented" business for over 30 years. Recently my Macbook Air would not come on and didn't seem to be charging. Amazing business! They’re quick, good prices, and were available the whole time and communicated everything thoroughly with me. They not only replace the glass on your phone. An amazing place. I had broken of the connectors (very important piece) off of my mother board and they were able to repair the same connector and fix everything. The skills required and the equipment they needed are really impressive. They can do it all. And for my laptop being as good as new and the severe damage I caused, it was only 150 total. They fixed it completely in about a week. Great place so worth it and can most likely repair anything severe.

Took my IPad in on May 20th and it was ready the next day. I was expecting it later in the week, which still wasn't a long wait time. Got it back, the screen was fixed, except the front camera was cloudy and everything work as before. So thank you for fixing the problem and not causing a new one. But before the week was out the screen was coming up and the it was glitching. I turned it in a week later and said that there were still a problem and picked it up 2 weeks later and now that tablet does not charge and the screen doesn't come on.

This place definitely deserves a 5 star review. My wife dropped her iPhone in a fire and it was all burnt up and melted. They were able to get the phone up and running enough to allow me to get the priceless photos of my grandfather who recently passed away. This place is such a life saver. I needed a port soldered back onto a dryer touch panel and they were able to get back on within 1 day. I connected it back to my dryer and within a few seconds, it was working good as new. Rather pay them $90 to do that than eBay or another online retailer $285 + for a replacement touchpanel for a whirlpool dryer. I was lucky that it was a clean break from the circuit board. Will come for future repairs!

Found myself with a busted phone screen on a Saturday morning after an enthusiastic horse of a dog gave my S22 Ultra an unexpected 5' drop the other day, so I rolled over to ScreenFixing an hour after they opened to see if Nate could sort me out. As you would expect with someone that's experienced in device repair, he readily identified the model even as I was still questioning aloud what iteration I was on. He went on to check the functionality of my phone to determine if only the screen was damaged, verified their parts partner had an OEM replacement, and assured me they'd have it sorted by end of day. Sure enough, I'd barely had time to hit Kroger, eat lunch, and chase the horse down the beltline again before they'd dropped me an email telling me to come on over. Upon arrival, Jacob handed me my phone, assured me he'd double checked the screen integrity under microscope, and invited me to see for myself. They nailed it. So. I'm sure some of you are concerned about cost, and for this nice Samsung OLED replacement and labor it was ~$350. And while nobody wants to spend that, even were you not boycotting big bizunz and going local, the last time I replaced this device with a the same model, I had to pay $200, plus there was the device protection plan that'd I'd been paying for the prior 1.5 years "just in case." Forget that mess! It just makes the total cost to get your device back in action significantly higher than simply going to ScreenFixing when you fall victim to your local horse dog, or whatever! And seriously, do you really want to give your $$$ to your mobile carrier and their shareholders when you could otherwise be supporting an amazing business in our community? Heck, ScreenFixing pays their full time employees a living wage and they get benefits! Yeah, I'm late to the party in getting repair here instead of Verizon, but until my back completely gives out on me and I can't walk anymore, I'm going to ScreenFixing. 👍👍

These guys were amazing, friendly, and kept me updated at every step about my laptop. No hidden fees, no making up issues to fix. Solid team. I highly recommend! TLDR: I thought my laptop was a gonner. At the very least, One guy told me that my charger port needed to be replaced, which was a part no one had. A certain Big Box store would have required me to send it to their texas center and wait two weeks for an answer. I was heartbroken and terrified that even if It could get fixed, it wouldn't be before I lost my job or something. I just happened to pass by Screen Fixing, googled it, called, figured worse thing is they could have a look at it before my appointment at Big Box Store so that they could let me know if they could get the part in faster than the 2 weeks it'd take Big Box store to even diagnose the issue.... I made it clear how desperate I was that they do not wipe my data. Something that happened to my son at Big Box store for just a broken screen. Well these guys diagnosed my problem within 3 hours. Then they had my computer fixed within 24. There was no broken charger port. No fried motherboard. Just needed to do a MCOS update (i think that's what it was. They were friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. They have earned a regular customer. I'll be cancelling my big box total membership and getting insurance with these guys.

They took out the bulging battery and sent me home with my computer so I could still use it. It was replaced within two days around a holiday. On top of that, I got a screen protector for my Galaxy without bubbles which made me very happy.

I just got my iphone fixed at this place. They were able to fix my phone when Apple Store and another phone service place turned me down. They said my phone is destroyed and can not be fixed. This place repaired my iphone in only 3 days. They SAVED ME because I am an artist and I was going to lose 1400 videos that were stored in my Tiktok drafts. Drafts don’t save or transfer in back up. I am so THANKFUL for this place and the people who work here. Even though I met them for the first time in my life they were extremelly friendly and kept me updated everyday about the progress of my phone. I will forever be grateful and recommend this place 100%. Thank you again!

I brought in a computer last year and ask for them to fix the screen. It was around $500 and when I picked it up it worked but a week later when I was doing work the screen shattered and I did not even touch it. So I brought it back in and told them and they shut me down and acted like I was stupid. I explained to them that I didn’t do anything and this should not of happened especially if I paid for a working screen. SO I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN! I ALSO DO NOT RECOMMEND!! P.S Writing this now because then I felt so embarrassed and know I feel like people should know what happened so it does not happen to them.

Customer service was great and they said they'd have it by 24-48hours. What they didn't account for was the holiday (which I also forgot) so it was longer than expected, but 24-48hours (excluding the holiday) was accurate. The only reason why it's 4 stars and not 5 stars was because they fixed the issue we came in for (broken Ipad charging port) however, when I turned it on at home the iPad had no sound. So it seemed like they forgot to connect something and I had to drive all the way back. To be clear, the iPad had sound prior to me dropping it off for the initial fix. I came in around 6pm, walked around the neighborhood, and came back at closing and it was done (free of charge). I appreciate that they fixed it right away and I was able to get it before closing. Though, it was a bummer I had to drive back and kill sometime in the first place. Would come again!

I wish I could quit breaking my stuff, but as long as I'm clumsy or my gear lets me down, I'm glad to have ScreenFixing around to make things right. Most recently they replaced the screen protector on my Galaxy Flip. It's a cool phone, but the constant folding and opening damages the screen on a regular basis. ScreenFixing got me back up and running quickly.

I took my gaming laptop in because the hinge on it broke and there was a suspicious popping sound and burning smell when I plugged in the power cable. It never turned on again. Turns out my motherboard was fried to hell and the fix was more expensive than it was worth. However, the guys over ScreenFixing were super communicative throughout the whole process and made my saved data easily transferable. 10/10, would recommend.

Love this place! I dropped my iPhone 11 that hadn’t been backed up in a few months in the water over Memorial Day weekend and Screenfixing was able to merge all that precarious data onto a new phone (backed up now). I didn’t lose anything! I must have walked into the store with some stupid question at least 4 or 5 times over the course of a few days but they were really patient and helpful every time. Highly recommend!

Experience was great. I went in with a badly damaged charge port, a dead phone, and not knowing what to expect. Staff was nice and knowledgeable of my phone and the process. They had the type of replacement that I needed and were able to repair it within an hour. They double checked their work and made sure it worked before I left, and later followed up with a call/text. Life savers!! Would definitely recommend! Note--they don't just repair phones, I noticed a variety of other electronic devices in there too!

Warning! Do not buy random chargers for Dell laptops. I am thankful it wasn't worse. My computer started smoking at the plug to my laptop and I immediately shut it down. ScreenFixing repaired our iphoneX and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple refused to fix the iphone8, telling us it was a hardware problem. The device wouldn’t read the SIM card and the speaker was muffled. All it needed was cleaning out the dust build up to make it work again. Both devices are like new again. Will return for service again.

Staff was friendly and the repair was done relatively quickly. When the part they needed was delayed and they couldn't get the repair done on the schedule they originally told me, they called me right away to update me. After the screen repair, I noticed the sound on the phone wasn't working, which turned out to be due to a misplaced cable. When I brought it to their attention, they fixed it within an hour or so. I don't want to break my screen again, but it was genuinely nice to have an excuse to support this local business, whose owner does so much for our neighborhood.

I love this place. The day before we were to go out of town, by brother's phone stopped working. I took it to my favorite phone fixing place and they were so good. These guys were great! I had an oddball problem, where the Lightning cable connector only worked intermittently. They were hesitant to replace it, because sometimes it worked. They tried a simpler fix, at no charge. When that didn’t work, they apologized, even though it wasn’t their fault. Then they fixed it perfectly. I highly recommend them.

The experience was good except one thing, when I came to pick the phone up on yesterday, there was 4 people working, 1 at the register with a customer, which was fine but the other 3 were working on other things. So o had to wait about 10mins just for a quick pick up that took only 2mins when it was finally my turn. I work in the customer service business so I’m really big on that, if there are associates standing around please stop what you’re doing for a sec help the next customer that is waiting.

I had the charging port replaced in my iphone mini yesterday, and they were able to order the part and fix my phone same day. It wasn't cheap, but I imagine the price is similar elsewhere. We have had a few iPhones fixed with Nate and his gang with no issues. They recently sorted out a drive and OS update on my MacBook Pro, though it took a lot longer than expected, in the end the Update was completed and all is great. Recently they replaced my iPhone battery and it worked great for a spell, until it didn't. Nate was a huge help trying to get the phone to charge, even though I was in LA and he was in Atlanta. Unfortunately in the end all the tech help could not give life to this battery. I ended up swapping it out for a new one from a local repair shop. Nate was an awesome dude and took care of my repairs when I got home by crediting my CC for the work he had done. I have the magical skill to find the weakness in electronics that seems to stump and confound the brightest of minds. Nate and his team take great pride in the work they do and only want the best for their customers. So even if something goes wrong, they will do their level best to get it sorted and make it right for you.

After reading the reviews I called and spoke with Thomas and Kyle about trying to recover my data. My daughter had her PC laptop go into lock down mode after Microsoft was asking for the Bit Locker Key!!! I use an apple so this was foreigner territory. Did the research and unfortunately never linked her laptop to a Microsoft account so had no access to this key. Took it to Screen Fixing and they were honest and upfront. Each step they contacted me and gave me an update and cost. They were able to address other issues with her PC laptop and now its working again. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent service, communication, and experience. Brought in my phone for a completely shattered back; they got the part in promptly and had it fixed in hours. Kind and knowledgeable technicians, never talked down to me, and were patient when I took time to evaluate their quote versus Apple’s (theirs was, literally, $500 cheaper). Highly recommend. Lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

ScreenFixing was able to recover all the data from an unresponsive hard drive with a lot of photo and video projects I had (stupidly) not backed up with a fairly quick turnaround and great communication.

I accidentally left my i phone outside during a rain shower. Although I still had power to the phone, water was interfering with the functionality of the screen and other parts. The wonderful techs at Screen Fixing were able to open up and dry out the phone and replace my screen. They saved me from having to purchase a new phone! My family has frequented this business and they are always friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and reliable with repairs.

I came into shop on a Sunday right before closing time. Customer service was A+ Repair to my grandsons screen was superb. It looked brand new. I'm going back soon to have the back replaced. If you are in need of a screen repair I highly recommend them.

I received exceptional service with both of my phones over a period of years. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks about my matte screen. They had to order a replacement screen for me once so I recommend calling ahead with your make & model of phone. Parking can be a little tight.

SF has repaired our phones numerous times. They have always been Johnny on the spot, prompt and helpful. They even helped my mother in law transfer info from her old phone into her new, when nobody else was being helpful. We fully recommend!!!!

Great, friendly service at a reasonable price. I came in for an estimate and came in the next day for a repair. When the repair came out higher than the estimate they adjusted the price back down to the estimated price with no questions asked. I hope I don't have to go back but if a device isn't working it will be the first place I go.

You can say that a service business has friendly, knowledgeable service but when my 10 year old brought in the shattered screen of the new gaming laptop he had saved moths for, the team at SF made him feel totally at ease that his.baby.wpild be alright. 7 days later we got the call and rushed over to pickup the expertly repaired laptop! Well done!

I stopped in at ScreenFixing today to inquire about a problem with my iPhone 11. It wouldn’t connect to the FireWire and I’d been charging on a pad but was unable to get updates and a pain to deal with on flights. I tried all the tricks I saw online to fix the problem to no avail. I thought it would be a pricey fix but they were able to get into the phone and make it right for $25. They are nice people too. I highly recommend.

Do NOT hesitate to call ScreenFixing for your laptop needs. I work in a business of quick deadlines and when my laptop just wouldn't turn on, I took it to ScreenFixing and crossed my fingers. They had it back up and running perfectly within 24 hours. Very happy!!!

They did an amazing job! The customer service was fast and the staff was very friendly! I expected to get my iPad back in a few days and it was completed in a few hours! I was also told that someone had donated a part I needed so I paid only for the cost of repair! I would definitely recommend getting your device fixed here. Thank you all again and God bless!

Screen cracked even with Otter Box on. It took a while to get the parts, and they forgot to notify me that it was done, but the work and craftsmanship was perfect. And $5 less than the competition.

I recently went in to get a privacy screen protector. About a month ago, I visited the store because the Face ID on my iPhone 11Pro wasn’t working and I wanted a privacy screen protector. After doing diagnostics, I was told they would get back w/me when they learned what part I would need. A few weeks later I headed to the Apple Store because my calls continued to drop…long story short, I ended up with an iPhone 14Pro because of numerous issues that would be cost prohibitive to resolve. I went back to get another privacy screen while in the neighborhood and shared this story. The WONDERFUL woman (why didn’t I get her name?) honored the warranty (which I had forgotten about) so I didn’t have to pay another $50 for ANOTHER privacy screen protector! Great service! Thank you. It means so much which businesses go out of their way to make your life better and remind you of services and warranties to avoid your paying more! Hit them up! You’ll be glad you did! Btw…East Atlanta Village ROCKS!

Very friendly folks. Nice shop. Yes. Everyone loves this place. Great location close to many iphone owners. It's also overpriced for some reason (rent I guess?). Well. Here's my experience: First time around (a) I went in to get a broken iphone screen fixed. They said "the fingerprint feature won't work" and I was okay with it although it sounded strange. Second time around (b) I went to get a full screen replacement on a macbook pro. After weeks on end waiting for them to get the right part delivered and the thing assembled, the camera didn't work, as if it wasn't connected. Their supplier might be an ebay seller from china. In the end they made me feel like I should've done it myself. The screen alone cost half of what they charged, without mentioning the month+ taken to do the job. Anyway, in both cases they did not fix the device to make it what it was before. I could've complained but (a) it was cheaper than getting a new phone or laptop, and (b) I never really use the laptop camera or the fingerprint feature [that much] anyway. Edit: photos show an knife blade stuck somewhere inside the screen after the macbook screen was “fixed”. Yes, it moved around.
